New workstation for industrial laser marking
Gravotech launches the LW3, a laser marking station for bulky parts that provides Class 1 safety for the operator and the workplace.
Gravotech launches the LW3, a laser marking station for large parts that provides Class 1 safety for the operator and the workplace.
Its large marking surface and technical features provide versatility and productivity for identification, coding, and traceability applications for all types of parts, components, or tools.
The Gravotech Group has developed a new laser marking station: the LW3. Its capacity and compatibility with fiber, hybrid, and green laser marking systems make the LW3 the perfect choice for marking a wide range of metal and plastic parts in all industrial environments, from the aeronautical industry to the most demanding automotive manufacturing industries.
Through its design, the LW3 naturally encloses the laser marking head and the part being marked, completely hermetically and without the risk of entrapment. While laser marking is in progress, tubes extract the particles and fumes emitted during the marking process into a highly efficient extraction system, preventing dust from accumulating inside the enclosure and spreading into the workspace. All of this makes the LW3 a completely safe Class 1 laser.
The LW3 workstation has a marking surface of up to 875x300 mm and can accommodate workpieces up to 628 mm high, with dimensions of 1100x750 mm, and a weight of up to 50 kg. It is perfect for marking individual workpieces or batch matrix marking.
This industrial laser station can mark large workpieces in various positions and levels. A 3D module can also be added to the LW3 laser for marking inclined workpieces.
The LW3 is one of the few industrial laser stations that does not constantly require a computer or PC to operate. Marking files can be managed using the touchscreen remote controller.
